As a lover of crime fiction any excuse to read more is fine by me! This blog started as a challenge to read as many books as I could by authors who were appearing at the Harrogate Crime Writers Festival. Once that was over I realised that I enjoyed writing this blog nearly as much as the actual reading, so have kept it going.

I’m happy to be approached to review books so if you have one you think I might enjoy please drop me an email at candic13@yahoo.co.uk with a brief description of your novel and I’ll consider it.

I review mostly crime fiction and am happy to read both paperback and kindle versions. Unfortunately although I try to review all books I receive I cannot guarantee to review every book  unless I have agreed in advance to post on a specific date or am part of a blog tour. Please note I do not charge for reviews and do not sell any ARC’s I receive (although do pass some really good ones onto the Sister!)
